Round Vase “Silver”

This rounded vase is finished with an off-white glaze that has been transformed by ash and flame during wood firing. Soft greys and silvery tones emerge across the surface, creating a finish that can never be repeated.

During firing, the vase developed several cracks. They have been left untouched as an honest record of its journey through the kiln, making this piece suitable as a sculptural object rather than a functional vase for water. Beautiful on its own or with dried flowers.
