Bouquet Vase “Ancient”

Left unglazed, this bouquet vase is rubbed with sand before firing. The interaction of clay, sand, ash and flame creates subtle natural colours and a distinctive stone-like texture that can only be achieved in the kiln. Its softly oval form rests on a small foot, allowing it to stand beautifully both as a vessel for flowers and as a sculptural object in its own right.
