Wood-fired Serving Bowls

These wood-fired serving bowls reveal stunning natural variations of colour created by ash, flame and the atmosphere inside the kiln. No two bowls are alike, each one a unique expression of fire and clay. Perfect for serving salads, fruit, vegetables or generous side dishes.
One bowl developed a crack during firing. Rather than discarding it, I chose to repair it using food-safe epoxy with metallic powder, inspired by the philosophy of Kintsugi. The repair became part of the bowl’s story, preserving both its beauty and its full functionality.
